For example a pupil was asked to cover a maternity leave situation within her work place. It entailed driving to a distant location – the ability to drive was conditional in securing the role. We worked together with the pupil and did between 4 and 6 hours weekly over mostly two hour lessons – the pupil passed at the second attempt and fulfilled the role the employer had offered. Two successes here, our pupil passed her driving test and secured promotion at work!
