We recently helped a Doctor who had driven for many years and decided the convenience of an auto transmission was preferable to all the gear changes and the physical demands of driving a manual.  Within the two-hour session the Doctor was confident in driving their own vehicle.

Another example was a couple who were hiring an automatic vehicle for a holiday trip.  They wanted the confidence of knowing how to use an automatic vehicle ahead of the hire period so they were both able to share the driving with no apprehension. Again, a couple of hours provided the confidence.
