Turn-2-us are pleased to announce the extension of our services, to include the Bromley & Bexley postcodes. We may now be able to help you. Our scrolling message above details the towns in which we now operate. We pride ourselves on helping in those rural areas and many communities will fall within within our extended area.   

We cover Medway, including Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester & Strood, Gravesend, Swale, (including Sittingbourne, Sheppey & Faversham) Maidstone, Whitstable and Herne Bay.. In all these areas we happily help if you live in a village away from the main centres, we recently helped people in Bicknor and Lenham Heath, which are remote rural locations.
Our area of cover has now been extended to Bromley & Bexley we are able to do Manual & Automatic
Lessons over areas such as: Sidcup Dartford Chislehurst  Erith Footscray Bexleyheath Crayford Bromley Swanley Belvedere

Our office is open 7am - 10pm 365 days a year, tuition times are from 7am – 9pm Monday to Saturday, however we try to accommodate those exceptions that require something different, contact us and see if we can help you. Some of our instructors will do driving lessons on Sundays but space is limited. Please ask, we may be able to help you.

Wherever you decide to take your driving test we can help having experience in numerous test centres within the Southeast; Gillingham, Gravesend, Maidstone & Herne Bay Test Centres are some of our regular test centres.
We have taken pupils for test at Test centres in Canterbury & Ashford (Kent)
We can help with tests at Sidcup, Belvedere and the recent addition to the list at Erith.

Are you an unlicensed driver?
Do you have the dilemma of being a driver but without a licence? We can help – all you need to do is pick up the phone and Turn-2-Us for help.
For many reasons unlicensed drivers are increasingly turning to us for help in obtaining a full licence. One pupil could not face the prospect of his teenage children embarking on driving lessons when he had never been licensed throughout the years the children had been growing up. He knew he had to become legitimate and with our help he obtained his full licence.
Mr. L as we will refer to him, was increasingly concerned about the spread of ANPR (AUTOMATIC NUMBER PLATE RECOGNITION) cameras and knew he would be found out, it was a mater of when not if he was caught driving with no licence. With our assistance he is now licensed and driving within the law.
Mr. M was a successful businessman with vans and a fleet of cars at his disposal. He did not mislead friends or family but over the years people assumed he was a driver because he had always driven. Simply however he had never applied for a licence or taken a test. He was trapped.  With our help he is now fully licensed.

We offer complete discretion and understand that you the client may not wish anyone to know what you are doing. We can assure you of confidentiality. You may wish to train in an area many miles from where you live or work we can arrange whatever is needed. We usually put these drivers in with our fleet trainer as the vehicle we use is not in the heavy livery of a driving school car and with his experience of commercial drivers you will feel very much at ease whilst training for a driving test. There is no shortcut to the procedure you will need a provisional licence; you must pass the theory test and then your practical driving test.

Short notice tests
Have a test booked and been let down by your driving instructor – car or some other turn of events?
We may be able to help, our regular response to these last minute problems is:
 We would conduct a Two hour assessment drive with you. Why two hours? Firstly you need to become familiar with the car, the instructor will then asses your driving over the full range of roads and junctions that you would encounter during a typical drive, including town driving, out of town on rural roads & dual carriageway. Quite simply giving you a chance to demonstrate that you can drive a car and to a high enough standard to be safe and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Highway Code. You would also be expected to conduct the drive with little or no help from the instructor depending on how close your test is.

During a driving test you will need to complete two set pieces of reverse work. During the assessment drive you will need to demonstrate that you can complete all of the reverse manoeuvres.

Complete a turn in the road
That is why two hours is needed. At the end of the drive the instructor will be able to judge whether your driving is at a standard where you pose no danger in attempting the test – danger to yourself, other road users or indeed the examiner. The decision will be based on the drive. Unfortunately many people are not trained to a high enough standard to allow the instructor to agree to take them to test. If the pupil and the instructor agree on how much extra time is needed to prepare for a test we can and do our best to prepare you. If we have a couple of weeks that is less of a problem. Sometimes we can work with only days when we get less that 48 hours it becomes much more difficult – but not impossible
One customer telephoned at 4pm requesting our help with a driving test at 9.30 the next day. We conducted a late night drive from 8pm-10pm and agreed with the customer to take them for test provided they had an extended lesson from 7am on test day to get practice with the points raised during the assessment drive. You will appreciate that our fee reflected the short term nature of the assignment and the inconvenience we put two of our customers to in responding to this request.
